New jetty fence for Macleay Island
A new aluminium fence will be built on the Ron Field Jetty on Macleay Island in early December
The decision to build the fence follows a safety audit by Council, which highlighted the need for a protective barrier to improve safety for jetty users, particularly those fishing and swimming.
Work is expected to take around four days, weather pending. Council apologies for any inconvenience.
