Energy Substation for Russell Island

In an effort to make black and brown outs a thing of the past for islanders, Energex is planning to build a new substation on Russell Island. No doubt most islanders will see this as a big plus but unless handled well, the substation could be a blot on the landscape because it is planned to be plainly visible hard against the only north south road on Russell.
